Purchase Terms - Instore purchases can be done by Cash, Check, Direct Payment, Visa, MasterCard or an instore account set-up with Wells Fargo Financial (formerly Trans Canada Credit)  All account purchases require an approved credit application to be processed in the store or at the closest Wells Fargo Financial branch.
NO PHONE, FAX OR INTERNET APPLICATIONS.  The customer must present any requested identification.

·         Privacy Policy  - Any customer purchase information acquired by J. R. Rahey's will only be released to service centres for warranty work or the manufacturer for warranty claims.  Any information sent to a credit company becomes the property of the credit company.  J. R. Rahey's will not sell customer information to a mail-list firm or any other marketing company. Exceptions to this policy will only occur at the request of the customer.  We respect the privacy of each of our customers.

·         Refund Policy -Items purchased in-store cannot be refunded;  however, they can be exchanged for an item of equal value within 7 days or a store credit towards a new purchase within 90 days.  A 10% restocking charge will apply plus any shipping charges. The returned item must be unused, unless the item is defective and the manufacturer has authorized the return.  Special orders are subject to a 20% restocking fee, after the order has been processed.

·         Layaway Policy - layaways are maximum 90 days (3 months).  A 20% deposit is required to set up a layaway.  If the layaway is not paid out in 180 days (6 months) the purchase is cancelled without deposit refund. 

·         Product Warranties -J. R. Rahey's Furniture & Appliances will facilitate the warranty service required for an item purchase at its store.  All warranties are provided by the manufacturers. Electronics and appliance brands have service centers across Canada.

·         Shipping Charges - The delivery charge will vary from region to region.  On any returns, the customer must pay a pickup charge (equal to the delivery charge).  On any items that must be picked up for service, the customer must pay a pickup/return charge.
